LCPS – Recycled Art Works

April 3, 5 to 7 pm
The regular monthly artists’ reception, taking place in the El Paso Electric Gallery from 5 to 7pm during the First Friday Downtown ArtRamble, will feature recycled art works by Las Cruces Public School students.

In coordination with both the Kennedy Center Partners in Education and the Scrap Arts Music performances, the Doña Ana Arts Council proudly presents an exhibit of art work created by students from Las Cruces Public School classrooms. The exhibit’s connection to Scrap Arts Music concert on April 19 will be shown through the students’ use of recycled objects to fashion percussive instruments, along with other creative designs and art forms. The exhibit will begin with an opening reception on Friday, April 3 and run through the entire month of April.

  1. Awe man – I’d love to see images of the instruments and art from recycled materials! You’re efforts to use linguistically and practically the terms of recycling, reducing and reusing are highly applauded!
