The contest is divided into two parts:  Children 5-17 years will compete to design a Youth Card and adults will design a new Adult Card.

Official entries forms and contest guidelines will be available at the front desk.  The Library will accept entries May 1 through May 31.

All entries will be judged by staff at the Las Cruces Museum of Art.  Ten finalists (five adults and five children) will be chosen.  The finalists’ entries will then be voted on by the public – public voting will be held at the library from June 20 – 30.

The youth winner will receive a $75 gift card and have his/her artwork displayed on the new youth card.  The adult winner will receive a $150 gift card and have his/her artwork displayed on the new adult library card.  The gift cards are courtesy of The Friends of TBML.
